About the event
Join us for an exciting and enriching day at "Hamilton Welcomes the World," a special event dedicated to welcoming new international students to the vibrant city of Hamilton. This event is a collaborative effort by McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer University, Helping International Students: Hamilton (HIS), and Global Hamilton Connect to help you settle in, connect with the community, and start your journey in Hamilton on the right foot.
The Mayor's office will warmly welcome you to the city, and be sure to arrive before 3 PM for a chance to win a grand prize—a MacBook Air! The event will feature city-wide tours with prizes, networking opportunities with various community booths and workshops to help you get settled in Hamilton. This event is designed to provide you with valuable resources, connections, and support to ensure a smooth transition into your new life in Hamilton. We look forward to welcoming you to Hamilton!
