About the Event
Cinéma en plein air (Open-Air Cinema) is a recurring summer event series deployed across various neighborhood parks in Sherbrooke, including Parc Andrew-Sangster, Parc Ma-Villa, Parc Marie-Victorin, and Parc Gilles-Charland. It provides a completely free, relaxed, and low-pressure environment perfect for international students to meet up, experience the local community, and enjoy an evening outdoors. Attendees are highly encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks.
Timing: Movie screenings typically run throughout the summer months until early September, beginning right at dusk (usually between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM).
Weather Contingency: In the event of poor weather (rain or high winds), screenings are often moved to alternative designated indoor locations or times are adjusted.
